Euroformat presents new Leroy-Somer components – the E27 gearless machine and E300 variable frequency drive

In recent years, Euroformat has been actively introducing modern technologies into its lift production, with particular attention to gearless machines that can improve energy efficiency, reliability and passenger comfort. Since 2014, the factory has cooperated with French manufacturer Leroy-Somer, a European supplier of gearless machines for traction lifts. This partnership has enabled Euroformat to incorporate modern technical solutions into its equipment. One of Leroy-Somer’s new developments was an integrated solution combining the E27 gearless machine with the E300 variable frequency drive, designed to operate together.

To learn more about the new components, Euroformat representatives visited the Leroy-Somer factory in France in July 2017. The programme included a tour of the production facilities and a presentation of the latest developments. Following the visit, Euroformat began work on introducing the E27 machine and E300 drive into its lift equipment range.

Advantages of Leroy-Somer gearless machines

During the factory visit, Euroformat representatives were able to explore the main features of the new Leroy-Somer solutions:

Standardisation and compact design. Leroy-Somer gearless machines are available in several models covering commonly used lift capacities, from passenger to goods-passenger applications. Their compact dimensions help make more efficient use of shaft space and simplify installation where technical space is limited.
Low noise and smooth operation. The machines are tested in sound-insulated test areas using sensors that monitor noise and vibration levels. This helps support smooth and comfortable lift operation.
Ease of set-up. The E300 variable frequency drive was developed to work with the E27 machine and features a straightforward interface that simplifies the adjustment of key operating parameters.
Energy efficiency. The combination of the E27 machine and E300 drive helps optimise lift energy consumption and reduce operating costs.

Introducing the new technology into Euroformat lifts

Following the visit to its partner’s production facility, Euroformat began introducing the E27 gearless machine and E300 variable frequency drive into its lift range. These components can be used in passenger and goods lifts installed in residential developments, office buildings and public facilities.

The E27 and E300 combination can improve lift performance in areas such as ride quality, energy efficiency and ease of adjustment. For developers and building management companies, these solutions may also provide advantages in terms of operating and maintenance costs.

The partnership with Leroy-Somer became another example of Euroformat integrating European technologies into its products. This approach supports the continued development of the company’s lift equipment and expands its opportunities in both Ukrainian and European markets.
