Euroformat conquers Ukraine’s highest peaks

For many people, summer is associated with relaxing holidays by the sea, but the Euroformat team decided to spend their break differently – actively and with a sense of adventure. Employees travelled to one of Ukraine’s most scenic regions, the Carpathians, to climb Mount Hoverla. The trip became not only an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature but also a symbol of the team spirit that supports Euroformat as one of Ukraine’s leading lift manufacturers, producing modern passenger, hospital and goods lifts.

Why did the team choose the Carpathians?

The Carpathians are a unique region combining impressive mountains, dense forests and clear mountain rivers. For the Euroformat team, which works every day on the development and improvement of lift equipment, the trip offered a chance to step away from everyday work, recharge in nature and gain fresh motivation. Choosing Hoverla as the destination was no coincidence: Ukraine’s highest peak symbolises ambition and the drive to reach new heights, which closely reflects the company’s philosophy.

The trip also gave employees an opportunity to get to know one another better and demonstrate mutual support and teamwork, as climbing a mountain requires coordination and responsibility. These qualities are equally important at the Euroformat factory, where every stage – from developing lift equipment components to installing the finished product – depends on accuracy, cooperation and the contribution of each specialist.

Climbing Hoverla: scenery and challenges

The route to the top of Hoverla became a memorable adventure filled with striking impressions. Along the way, the team enjoyed views of the Carpathian landscape, including green slopes, forests and distant mountain ridges. Sunny weather made the climb more comfortable, allowing participants to stop, catch their breath and take in the surrounding scenery. Each step brought the team closer to the summit, while the landscape helped maintain a positive mood throughout the climb.

During the hike, the guide shared stories about the Carpathians, including the region’s protected forests, rich flora and fauna, and local legends. One of the most memorable was the romantic legend of the «eternal love» between Hoverla and the Prut River. These stories added to the experience and helped the participants feel a deeper connection with the nature and culture of the region.

The strongest emotions came when the team finally reached the summit of Hoverla. Standing at the highest point in Ukraine brought a sense of pride and joy – the long and demanding route was well worth the effort. The achievement became a symbol of teamwork and the ability to overcome challenges. The team returned from the trip with new impressions, fresh inspiration and an even stronger sense of unity.

What the trip meant for the brand

The journey to the Carpathians was more than just a holiday. It gave Euroformat employees an opportunity to feel part of a close-knit team working towards shared goals. Having reached one summit together, the team is ready to take on new challenges both professionally and beyond the workplace. Euroformat continues to develop its lift manufacturing, introduce modern technologies and strengthen its presence in Ukrainian and international markets.

Euroformat plans to continue supporting similar initiatives in the future by offering employees more opportunities for travel and team activities. Such experiences help strengthen team spirit, support motivation and create a working culture in which shared achievements become a positive tradition.
