Euroformat implements environmental responsibility standards
As one of Ukraine’s leading lift equipment manufacturers, Euroformat continues to improve its production processes in line with high standards of quality and corporate responsibility. One of the key milestones in this area was certification to the international ISO 14001:2015 environmental management standard in March 2018, confirming the implementation of an environmental management system at the lift manufacturing facility.
ISO 14001:2015 certification: a step towards environmental efficiency
ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard that provides a framework for implementing an effective environmental management system. It sets requirements for organising processes aimed at reducing the environmental impact of business activities. For Euroformat, compliance with these requirements forms part of a systematic approach to responsible and sustainable manufacturing.
An environmental audit carried out in 2018 by the German certification body TÜV Nord Cert GmbH confirmed that the factory’s environmental management system met the applicable requirements. The assessment covered different aspects of the company’s operations, including environmental impact control, waste management and environmental risk management. The audit confirmed that Euroformat had established a structured approach to managing and reducing the environmental impact of its production activities.
Environmental responsibility in lift manufacturing
Achieving ISO 14001:2015 certification became an important milestone for Euroformat. The standard requires companies to plan and implement measures aimed at reducing their environmental impact. At the factory, processes for managing waste generated during lift equipment production have been improved, while measures aimed at more efficient use of resources have also been introduced.
