Euroformat elevators in the library of the future

On September 10, 2017, the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Centre was opened. It is a state-of-the art information and resource center located in the campus of Ukrainian Catholic University (the city of Lviv). The heart of this project is a modern library that meets European standarts, with spacious and functional rooms, incredible styling design and modern Euroformat elevators.

As the library is a 5-storey building, it is important to provide comfortable moving between the stores. The building is equipped with two Euroformat EFR elevators (without a machine room): one 630 kg passenger elevator and one 1000 kg freight-passenger elevator. The Prestige cabin version is designer of textured stainless steel of "canvas" type, which fits perfectly in the building architecture.

The Library of the Ukrainian Catholic University is the unique library for Ukraine, which is expected to become a platform for cultural and educational events. Construction of the project started in 2015. The project has been developed by a German architect Stefan Behnisch (Behnisch Architekten bureau), who is world-known for his architecture projects. We are proud that that elevators of the Ukrainian manufacturer have been chosen for such a modern European project.
